Executive Director

Announcing Search for Executive Director

South Valley Services (SVS) is hiring for our next Executive Director, and the agency is launching a comprehensive search to fill the position. SVS is one of only two domestic violence providers in Salt Lake County, and the demand for our services is extremely high. The Executive Director will lead a trained and compassionate staff that provides and coordinates services to survivors and their children.

Since 1998, SVS has provided safe shelter, advocacy, case management, and prevention services to individuals affected by domestic and sexual violence. Thanks to the stellar work of the previous Executive Director and the Board of Directors, SVS is held in high regard in the community, with our funders, and among our community service collaborators.

Due to the nature of the agency's essential work, we are utilizing the expertise of an interim Executive Director. At the same time, the board is launching an aggressive and comprehensive search for the agency's next leader. The timeline for onboarding the new Executive Director is planned for Spring 2022, though the timing will not compromise the integrity of the search for the most suitable candidate.
